Hello all, I was wondering if there's an IM program out there which enable me to chat with both, people using messenger, and those who uses Yahoo messenger? I've tried Trillion, but it is not compatible with Jaws. I appreciate any feedback.

I agree. I installed each messenger, and with the newest JAWS version. It now works with yahoo messenger. But I am really a MSN and AIM person

I've heard of Miranda, but my friend said it was a dead project, and when he tried it, it broke quite a bit.I've downloaded messenger 7.90, but since my Jaws version is 4.51, it's not at all compatible.

Miranda works fine, it's not a dead project, try it out.

Hey, I have MSN, Yahoo, AIM and Skype. There is a program called Paltalk that lets you do MSN, AIM and Yahoo but I think it would not work with Jaws. I'm not sure if it will. I don't use Jaws.

I like Mirranda instant messenger. I use it all the time, and have no problems. I am using Jaws 7, and I have the scripts for Mirranda. I'm not sure which versions of Jaws the scripts work with, but I'll take a look, and write another post.

Hey!
Does Jaws 7.0 work with the latest version of aim? Last I checked, it didn't. Thanks!

To the Miranda user having trouble with AIM, get the newest version of the AIM protocol plugin. The MSN Miranda plugin is giving me troubles; looking for another one, if I can't get this to log in.

Guess I was hasty in my opening a trouble ticket re: Miranda's MSNIM y7 protocol plugin. All I needed do is wait. I tried it almost immediately after signing up for MSN. It works now.
